OPPORTUNITIES
 
Nursery/Preschool Ministry
(Babies – PreK)
 
Immediate Needs: 3 for Worship Rotations, 4 for Sunday School Rotation, 4 for Wednesday Night Rotation
Babies and preschoolers are precious and so much fun. Our Nursery/Preschool ministry is far more than baby sitting. If you have a heart for this age group and want to impact the lives of these kids God wants to use you to make a difference. Serve on a Sunday or Wednesday. Serve weekly or on a rotation. Either way, you can impact these young lives and help the parents be more involved in Bible study and worship. You can be vital to making a difference here!

Children’s Ministry
(Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
 
Immediate Needs: 1-2 Adults for Sunday School, 2 Adults for Children’s Church, 1-2 for Wednesday Nights
Children absorb knowledge and feelings like a sponge.  They are able to learn and retain information in their first few years, better than any other age.  This is why it is so important to build a child’s foundation in Christ as early as possible. If you are interested in helping to root our kids in the word of God, we encourage you to join us in the Children’s Ministry.  We have opportunities to serve in the following areas: Sunday School, as a small group leader (either weekly or on a rotation) or as a substitute; Children’s Church, as a whole group leader (as part of a monthly rotation); Wednesday Nights, as a games leader, worship leader, or memory verse leader (all small group).  Most leadership positions follow a curriculum and minimal preparation is required.  If God is calling you to touch the hearts and lives of some of our youngest with God’s love and truth, we would love to talk to you.

Van Ministry
(PreK – Adult)
 
Immediate Needs: 1 Ministry Leader (organizer & trainer), 2 drivers
We know in our community there are a number of kids, teens, and adults that would come to church if they had a way. Do you have a heart to get people to church who normally cannot come? Want to serve at a time that will allow you to be involved in a Bible study and worship as well? You can become a driver or co-pilot and serve in this ministry on Sunday or Wednesday nights.
 
A background check is required. A DMV and drug test is required to drive.

Youth Ministry
(6th – 12th Grade)
 
Immediate Needs: Prayer Team
Teenage years are some of the most influential in a person’s life. Often a person’s entire trajectory in life can be traced back to influences between the ages of 12 – 18. If you would like to help guide our students toward a life of devotion to Jesus come join us in the youth ministry.  Some possibilities are serving as a small group leader, in a large group setting, or preparing food. You can serve weekly or on rotations. If God has given you the heart to serve in the youth ministry, we would love to help if you discover if this is right for you.

College/ Young Adult Ministry
(18+)
Young adults have in one sense more freedom than any other age group. What would the world look like if we saw all of the young adults in our church sell out completely for Christ? If you would like to be a part of helping us impact this group for Christ come join us in the young adult ministry. As this ministry is still in its infancy we are still brainstorming ways our church can come alongside this group in love and support, but if you have a heart for them and would like to help support involved in this ministry, join our team. We will find a way to let you impact this group. (18+)

Men’s Ministry

There is nothing easy about life, being a man, with a God-centered focus is even harder. The influence of man can have a very large bearing on how a family, church, and community respond in the good times and bad. The focus of our Men’s ministry is strengthening our relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. Some opportunities to serve would be helping to prepare food, planning outings (fishing, shooting, etc..), helping with the monthly Brotherhood Breakfast/Devotional. Do you love to grill? Do you like to shoot fireworks? Do you enjoy fixing things or buildings things? The men have many opportunities that come up. If you would like to serve as a man and help impact the lives of other men, we have a place for you.

Women’s Ministry
Our ladies Ministry offers a great opportunity for fellowship and serving others. We come together and study God’s Word and pray. We provide a  “safe” place for our ladies to share their personal stories (past and present) knowing that their story will not leave our room and their is no judgement but only love and prayers. We have had many opportunities to serve others in the church and in the community. For example, we have provided Christmas for families whose children may have not had a Christmas, helped provide items for mother’s and children who were in a “safe house”, and also served in our children’s ministry.
 
We have such a special group of ladies that come together and love on one another and serve others. We also have opportunities to serve in each other’s homes for fellowships. (Movie, games, and of course food)

Senior Adult Ministry

We value those of every generation. Especially our wiser seniors. The world is ever changing and a scary place. We desire to embark on new and personal ways to minister to our seniors. From visitation, phone calls, trips, or something we have not even thought of. If you have a heart for seniors, we have a place for you!

Worship Ministry
 
Immediate Needs: Bass Player, Musicians, Vocalists

Do you have a talent or gift to play a musical instrument or sing? Do you enjoy the technical side like sound boards, video, online streaming or lights? The Worship Ministry objective is to develop and use those with musical ability to lead the Church in Worship. Others who have technical skills can support the musicians by helping insure that our delivery of the Worship message is clearly and effectively presented to the Church.

First Impressions Team Ministry

“First Impressions Team” or F.I.T  is a team of 2-6 people who greet guests and members at our services and events. They help us to make a good first impression by smiling and offering friendly and welcoming answers to questions. They identify visitors, walk them to their destination, and provide information to them.  You can serve on rotation or every week.  If you are an outgoing person who loves smiling, greeting and helping others, then this is the place for you!

Prayer Ministry
 
Immediate Needs: Prayer List Administrator

Do you have a heart for prayer? The greatest work any follower of Christ is praying. We have prayer requests come in from the church body, community, and all over the world. Being part of this team does not require you to pray out loud. As a matter of fact, most prayer requests are handled in your own private moments. We would love to have you be part of bringing people and needs to the throne of God.

Security Ministry Team

We live in a day where people want to know they are safe wherever they go. We take the safety of each person serious. If you would like to help provide a safe environment on Sundays or Wednesdays, let us know. You do not have to have a background in law enforcement to be part of this team but it is welcomed.

Building’s and Grounds Ministry

Do you have skills that can be used to maintain or repair a building? How about outdoor landscaping? Sometimes, things break or need some maintenance. If you enjoy imploring your skills in repair, building, or outdoor maintenance we have a place for you. If your heart is to make sure the buildings and grounds are their best, we have a place for you.
